Fuel D.OG is the result of crossing two well-known and very popular American varieties, Chemdog (Sour Diesel x OG KUSh) and Fuel OG (Diesel x HeadBand). Fuel D.OG is 70% sativa and 30% indica and has a very good yield potential both indoors and outdoors. THC production is also very high.
Fuel D.OG builds on the legacy of Chemdog by being much more robust, having a much more intense flavour profile and also a larger cup structure than Chemdog. Its robustness is evidenced by the much stronger main stem, which is strong enough to not require any support in the later flowering stage despite the high degree of sativa elongation. The main stem is surrounded by large lanceolate buds. When grown outdoors, the plants can grow up to 350 cm tall under optimal conditions.
When grown indoors, Fuel D.OG yields between 450 – 600 gr/m2 in 65 – 70 days of flowering with a generous amount of resin clearly visible in the developing buds as early as the third week of flowering. Height can be controlled indoors by switching to flowering after the plants are established and also by using the SCRoG method. Outdoors, each plant can produce 700-800 g of large sticky buds, with harvesting in the northern hemisphere ready in early October. The large trichomes, the concentration of terpenes and the quality of the resin itself make this a very serious proposition for extract/concentrate producers.
Fuel D.OG has a more intense OG KUSh flavor than its parent Chemdog, revealing a distinct lemon and grapefruit scented diesel. The THC content is very high, 22.8% has been lab tested, with low amounts of CBD. The effect is intensely relaxing and transitions into a long-lasting narcotic state, so it may be best to save it for the evening or for lazy days with no pressing tasks.
