Somango
Somango XL from Seed Banks RQS, beloved for its sweet taste, pleasing effect, has been labeled a “beast” after years of popularity and criticism online. The strain earned its name because of its satisfying and fruity taste that is reminiscent of tropical mangoes. The effect comes on very quickly and carries with it a calming feeling of peaceful clarity. Enjoyment is guaranteed, you won’t be tired or confused afterwards. The effect is very strong and can last for several hours as it has a relatively high THC content. It is the perfect strain for gaining inspiration and creativity.
The strain was originally introduced due to the demand for a plant that can induce a euphoric, classic effect without the side effect of lethargy. It was created by combining two of the most productive and robust plants available, Somango and Critical 47. This hybrid has been tested extensively. Since then, its availability has increased and it has won the admiration of many who buy these seeds.
Yield
Feminized Somango XL has a genetic blend of 25% sativa and 75% indica. Indica dominance is responsible for the rapid onset of action. The plant grows in a very condensed form while retaining beauty and elegance. It reaches a maximum height of 100 cm when grown indoors, making it perfect for those who desire a smaller plant. When grown outdoors it can grow up to 200 cm tall. Female plants have leaves with silky purple spots and stamens that are covered in a fine layer of crystals.
It is recommended that you give the plant about 9 weeks to reach its full potential. Some growers have found that the plant stops flowering and its products can be harvested in as little as 8 weeks. When growing outdoors, the harvest time is in late September.
If the plants grown indoors are cared for and provided with sufficient water, nutrients and moisture, the yield can be as much as 575 grams of dried cannabis. When the plant is grown outdoors, the yield is up to 600 grams per plant.
Rating
It has been hailed by many as a great plant for new growers as well as experienced ones. The plant is very hardy and is generally considered undemanding. Despite its tendency to be perennial, it produces dense growth that needs to be groomed. Careful control of the moisture in which it is grown will prevent mildew and ensure that healthy plants continue to produce large buds.
