Diet Durban THCV:THC 1:1 produces 80% feminized plants and is a new cannabinoid strain that is 80% sativa. It was created by crossing Landrace Thai with Caprichosa Thai. The resulting variety Diet Durban is shorter than both of its parents and has a shorter flowering phase. Diet Durban (THCV:THC 1:1) produces high amounts of these two particular cannabinoids (THCV, THC) in an approximate ratio of 1:1 THCV:THC (7% of each), while producing only a low proportion of other cannabinoids such as CBD.
Growers need to be aware that approximately 20 % of plants grown indoors may show some male characteristics in the early stages of flowering, a trait that is more likely when exposed to water and/or light stress. Plants grown outdoors are less susceptible to this trait.
The flowering time of Diet Durban THCV 1:1 indoors is between 9 and 10 weeks, while outdoors in the northern hemisphere the harvest should be in late October. This late harvest time limits outdoor cultivation to areas where autumn weather prevents rain and/or frost from damaging the crop. Yields are very high, although we have no confirmed data yet.
The Seedsman Diet Durban THCV:THC 1:1 is hoppy and spicy with pine notes, as well as anise and some citrus undertones. The predominance of THCV:THC produces an effect that is extremely invigorating and energetic, and which somewhat unusually counteracts the appetite.
